This was a winner! Included ingredients Scallops, Shrimps, Clams, Mussels, 2 eggs slowly hard boiling, bok choy, water crest, garlic, onions, and scallions. The soup base was water (with dried sardines for flavor), with a Korean bean paste and a spicy paste and...... KA BOOM!

The cold tofu was there to help cool your mouth down, topped with fresh grated ginger and scallions...

Taco...tues....errrr... Wednesday

Hard shell tacos such a Haole way for Mexican food. I am all about tradition but sometimes I am a sucker for nostalgia. Old El Paso or Ortega taco kits was what we ate when I was growing up and I still get the cravings! K.I.S.S is the saying... Only thing I did change was not using the provided seasoning packs as they are full of MSG and other crap. So I used standard seasonings in my cabinet with ground beef, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion with Cheddar and Sour Cream.... Nothing like that sound of the CRUNCH!

P.S. I have been told about this being an old Swedish Tradition... heh heh heh.

I floured up some chicken nice and golden. Then de glazed the pot with onions, whole garlic and bay leaf. I filled the pot with both chicken and beef stock with water to a boil, adding potatos & carrots. Last I simmered everything with some heavy cream and kale! KALE-BOOM! whooo hoooo!

Welcome to My Daily Grindz

Its the 3rd Quarter of Winter I have been stuck in my Cabin, just waiting it out like the rest of us.
It wasn't till Thanksgiving of 09 that I really really got into cooking on such a hard grind. In Hawaii a local term for food is"Grindz" or to eat is "Grinding". My co workers were getting really annoyed at all my phone photos I would show them the next day at work of what I made the previous night and one suggested I make this blog. I am keeping this thing of what I cook taken with  my Blackberry bold camera and maybe some cooking recipes? who knows? but what I do know is I love to cook and eat!
